Ross Wolf holds a Doctorate degree in Higher Education Administration and Education Leadership, and a Master*s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Central Florida and has over seventeen years of experience as a law enforcement officer. He has co-authored four course textbooks on police interviewing, two book chapters on police force, and over twenty articles on campus law enforcement, police administration and management, police use of force, tourism policing, and international policing.
Currently Dr. Wolf serves as an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. Additionally, Dr. Wolf serves as Technology Advisor and Senior Research Associate with the Florida Gulf Coast University Weapons and Equipment Research Institute, and as an adjunct instructor at the Valencia Community College Criminal Justice Institute police academy. Dr. Wolf also continues to serve as a law enforcement officer as Division Chief with the Orange County (Florida) Sheriff*s Office Reserve Unit. In this position, he is responsible for the command of sworn volunteer personnel in non-road-patrol specialized assignments. In addition to research, training, and lectures provided throughout the United States, Dr. Wolf has also worked internationally, developing and providing police training programs in the Caribbean.
Dr. Wolf will be speaking on how local law enforcement can assist in the education of students so that graduates are better prepared to handle real life roles in our communities.
