April 7, 2009 - Cpl. Allison Smith of the Winter Springs Police Department was elected to represent the CFCPA as the District 5 coordinator of the Florida Crime Prevention Association. Cpl. Allison Smith has been an officer with Winter Springs since 1996. Allison worked road patrol and was a school resource officer until being assigned to Crime Prevention/Community Relations in 1999 where she has served since. Allison is a Crime Prevention Practitioner, CPTED Practitioner, and holds her DARE Officer Practitioner. Allison has served as the secretary for the Florida DARE Officers Association, and will currently be taking over the position as Treasurer for the Florida School Resource Officers Association.
February 3, 2009 - Due to new assignments, Anthony Seda resigned from his position at CFCPA. To fill his position as Secretary, Teresa McDonald, Community Service Officer of Casselberry Police Department was elected by membership.
November 11, 2008 - Our raffle winner for the cruise is Priscilla Mallory. The winning ticket was lost by Lisa Starno. CFCPA uses its raffle funds for the "Dream for a Safer Community" Scholarship.
November 3, 2008 - CFCPA in conjunction with First Fifth Bank and UCF announce the "Dream for a Safer Community" scholarships. Winners were Jennifer Fillion (1st); Victoria Burton (2nd); and Devin Balkissoon (3rd). For more information Click Here.

April 1, 2008 - Cpl. James Roop of the University of Central Florida Community Relations Office was elected as both the FCPA District 5 Director and CFCPA's Director. Brian Tittle of the Orange County Sheriff's Office resigned his position to pursue expanded opportunities within OCSO.
February 5, 2008 - CFCPA dues for 2008 are now payable.
September 11, 2007 - The CFCPA held is election of officers. For the September 2007 to the September 2009 operating years, new officers are: Linda Harville-President, Bill Ford-Vice President, Linda McFadden-Treasurer and Tony Seda-Secretary; board members are: Bob Samson, Ed Schierholzer, and Bryan Tittle.
